You can avoid future heart problems by living a healthy lifestyle today. Here are eight tips to prevent heart disease to get started:

  1. Prevent and control high cholesterol in the blood

High blood cholesterol is a major threat factor for heart complaints.
Preventing and treating high cholesterol in the blood includes low-fat cooking oil with unsaturated fat high fiber, maintaining a healthy weight, and regular exercise. All adults should check their cholesterol levels once every five years.

  1. Prevent and control high blood pressure

Cooking oil usage is very common in people with high blood pressure. Canola oil, and olive oil, contain 74% monounsaturated fats and 7% saturated fats.
Extra olive oil is better for foods than other oils. It also contains high levels of vitamin E, an important factor in normalizing blood pressure levels.

Canola oil is one of the healthiest oils. From the cabbage family, this liquid oil contains monounsaturated fats, good for blood pressure and heart health. Canola oil contains only 7 percent saturated fat and 35 percent polyunsaturated fats.

7. Regular Physical Activity
